Research
The studio- Miltion Glaser was established in 1974. The company does different types of design. In reference to print design Milton Glaser Inc. works with logos, signage, stationery, and annual reports. In addition to print design, the company also has worked in areas of environmental and interior design. This includes exhibitions, shopping malls, the ins and outs of restaurants, and hotels. The most prominent and well known design he has created is the I <3 New York logo. This was created as a marketing strategy for the state of New York. The Commissioner for Commerce hired Milton Glaser to work on the campaign which became famous. Less known to people would be his poster for Bob Dylan in 1967. This poster was designed with influences outside of his own work. He referenced the piece by Marcel Duschamp, self-portrait. The hair was created because of Glaser's interest in Islamic painting.

Miltion Glaser
Designer- Milton Glaser was born in 1929. He began his education in New York at the high school of Music and Art. In 1954 Glaser co-founded the Pushpin Studios. Later in 1968 he founded the New York Magazin with Clay Felker. In 1974 he founded Milton Glaser Inc. After creating his own company he co-created a publication design firm with Walter Bernard. Glaser has had works in the Modern Museum of Art and has contributed his graphic skills to the restaurant in the World Trade Center. Glaser has won the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 for his contributions to design throughout history.
